Notre Dame football has made a June hire as Nina Baloun will join the program after spending just over a year at Indiana as the assistant director of football operations and according to a source, she will hold the same role for the Fighting Irish.
Prior to her stop at Indiana, Baloun spent two seasons at East Carolina as the director of football operations and two years at Houston while working as the director of football internal operations and the director of on-campus recruiting.
Baloun also served as the assistant recruiting coordinator for Illinois for four years and a football recruiting assistant and community relations liaison at Toledo for five years.
Notre Dame had been searching for an assistant director of football operations since Tyler Plantz left the program in November to become the head coach at Providence Catholic High School (Ill.).
Baloun is a graduate of Toledo where she earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and master’s degrees in criminal justice and counseling.
