2024 Lipscomb Academy (Tenn.) standout Kaleb Beasley‍ is one of the most coveted cornerbacks in his class and he's fresh off a nationwide tour visiting some of the top schools in the country.

Beasley was it to the Midwest to see Notre Dame, while also hitting the heart of SEC country before dipping into Texas.

"It was definitely fun," Beasley told ISD. "I was able to experience different things at different colleges. I saw how each program was run.

"Everything was kind of run the same, but it was just some of the culture that was different."

The four-star prospect was in South Bend for Notre Dame's Irish Invasion camp in June and his time with the coaching left a lasting impression.

"It was actually really good," stated Beasley. "I got to see how Coach (Mike) Mickens and Coach (Chris) O'Leary coached. One thing I really liked about them was that they focused on the little things like flipping my hips and stuff like that."

Beasley camped at most of the schools he visited as he wanted instruction to enhance his game and gain a feel for coaching styles.

"That's why I camped at most of the schools," explained Beasley. "I wanted to see how the coaches worked with me and they were able to tell me how to get better. They sent me home with tools I can help my teammates and myself out with at practice."

During his time at Notre Dame, the 6-foot, 180-pounder got to spend some quality time with head coach Marcus Freeman. It was a little different than the last time Beasley was on campus as Freeman was coming hard after the Tennessee native.

"The message Coach Freeman had was that I'm wanted at Notre Dame," stated Beasley. "He was talking about the academic part and graduating with a degree at Notre Dame. It can take you really far in life. He showed me who had graduated from Notre Dame that are in CEO roles and businessmen."

Beasley has also noticed the top names he was competing against at Irish Invasion have committed to Notre Dame.

2024 quarterback CJ Carr, receiver Cam Williams and tight end Jack Larsen have given verbal pledges in the last month and now they've turned their attention to recruiting Beasley.

"That was my first time meeting CJ," Beasley said. "He wants me to go there. I'm going back on July 26th for a little cookout, so that should be good. I'll be talking to Cam (Williams) and he loves it. He wants me to come there with him. It's been good talking to them and it's definitely made me feel more comfortable because I know people who are committed and going there."

During his tour, Beasley was also impressed with Clemson, LSU and Tennessee, which has led to him starting to peek ahead at a potential commitment date.

"I'm thinking about the end of the season, so maybe early January or somewhere around there," said Beasley. "I'm coming out with my top 10 in a couple of days."
