Video | Spurs Rookie Blake Wesley Full Summer League Highlights

Former Notre Dame guard Blake Wesley became the first one-and-one player in school history as the San Antonio Spurs selected the South Bend native with the 25th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. 

The Spurs brought 17 players to Las Vegas and Wesley led the team in scoring at 17.0 ppg while also averaging 4.0 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals in five summer league games. 

Wesley flashed his offensive skillset as he scored in a variety of ways as he did at Notre Dame, but he’ll need to continue to fine-tune his shot as he hit 31 percent of his field goals, which included 34.4 percent from deep. The 6-foot-5 guard also drew praise from several NBA analysts and scouts for his passing.
