Notre Dame Releases 2022 Shamrock Series Uniforms
The Shamrock Series has been a popular game for Notre Dame over the years as the Irish typically get to play in an NFL stadium or unique venue while also getting away from its traditional uniforms.
On Wednesday, Notre Dame debuted its 2022 Shamrock Series threads the Irish will wear in Las Vegas against BYU on October 8th.
All-Americans Isaiah Foskey and Michael Mayer made the trip out to Las Vegas earlier this month and rocked the spiffy uniform in Notre Dame’s release.
This year’s Shamrock Series uniform will be all white with a touch of gold as the Irish will wear white pants with gold numbers and trim with blue lettering around the numbers. The iconic golden dome is stitched on the front and back shoulder stripe in gold with Notre Dame across the chest while the back collar features the interlocking ND logo with the year inside a shamrock. On the shoulder will be a decal instead of a number, which is a shamrock reimagined through an Art Deco lens.
Notre Dame won’t be changing the helmet this year as it’s the traditional shiny gold. The cleats are also all white with gold accents, which is a little different than previous white uniforms where green was highlighted. Notre Dame’s gloves will be all white with two gold stripes and one blue stripe on the palms.
The Fighting Irish haven’t worn a white-on-white uniform since the 2013 Shamrock Series game in Dallas against Arizona State.
