BREAKING | 2025 IN IF/RHP Mason Barth Commits to Notre Dame

Notre Dame has made its presence felt at Andrean High School (Ind.) in recent years and Shawn Stiffler has landed one of the state's top prospects in 2025. Infielder and pitcher Mason Barth has committed to Notre Dame as the Fighting Irish continue a strong run on the recruiting trail. 

The 5-foot-9, 190-pounder hit an exit velocity of 100.2 in July while also hitting 86 mph off the mound earlier this month. 

Barth and 2023 Notre Dame commit Drayk Bowen‍ helped Andrean to its 8th IHSAA 3A State Title this spring as he hit .401 with one home run, 43 RBI and 28 stolen bases. In fact, Andrean head coach Dave Pishkur is on record stating Barth is the second-best freshman he’s ever coached. 

The Andrean star continued to impress at a scouting event in early October as he ran a 6.74 60 and recorded and exit velo of 98.8. Barth also demonstrated a strong arm for a sophomore as he hit 84 mph across the infield. 

Barth was also named Player of the Game at a PBR Future Games event In July after he went 2-for-2 with a double and three RBI.
