Post-Visit Update | 2024 Notre Dame WR Target Jeremiah McClellan
Jeremiah McClellan has taken visits with his Christian Brothers College (St. Louis, Mo.) teammate, Jeremiyah Love, but being in South Bend when Love announced his commitment to Notre Dame was different.
McClellan, a 2024 wide receiver, has many of the same offers that Love, a 2023 running back, had and know he knows Love will be in his ear about following him to South Bend for good non-stop.
That’s a good thing for the Irish.
While McClellan isn’t going to make his decision based on anybody else.
“It puts some pressure on me to go there, but not that much,” he told ISD after Saturday’s visit. “I'm still going to make my decision by myself.”
Still, he also acknowledged the idea of teaming back up with Love is appealing. And it’s not just reconnecting with Love, but playing on the same team as fellow St. Louis stars Christian Gray, a 2023 cornerback who is already committed to Notre Dame, and Ryan Wingo, a fellow 2024 receiver target.
McClellan, who left early in the second half, had been to Notre Dame multiple times already.
He enjoyed the atmosphere for the game, but what he enjoyed most was the opportunity to visit with head coach Marcus Freeman and wide receivers coach Chansi Stuckey again.
Look for McClellan to head to Ann Arbor for Michigan’s game against Michigan State in a couple weeks. He’s also considering a trip to Tennessee.
But all of the while, he’ll also continue making those relationships with Freeman and Stuckey even stronger.
Full Story coming soon.
