Notre Dame football coach Marcus Freeman spoke following the 16-14 loss to Stanford on Saturday night. 

On the loss: 
"As I just met with the team and told them, this one is disappointing. You've got to give credit to Stanford. They did a good job. They played well. But our lack of execution is frustrating. You know, that was adamant today, especially in the first half. We have to execute better.

“Offensively, we have to execute better.
