Notre Dame Commit Roundup

The Irish’s newest commit – 2023 running back Jeremiyah Love‍ – makes his debut in the Commit Roundup following Christian Brothers College’s 52-25 victory over Indianapolis’ Warren Central High School on Friday.

Love (pictured above) finished with 85 rushing yards and a score on just 12 carries before publicly announcing his commitment to Notre Dame a day later.

Love’s teammate, 2024 Notre Dame wide receiver target Jeremiah McClellan‍, had four receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown and had 100 rushing yards and another score on three carries.

Love has 533 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on 68 carries this season to go with 143 receiving yards and a score on five receptions.

DYLAN DOES HIS THING AGAIN: Another week, another big game for 2023 Irish running back commit Dylan Edwards‍.

Edwards’ Derby squad demolished Maize South this past weekend 55-7.

Edwards finished with 119 rushing yards and three touchdowns while also pulling in a 50-yard reception for another score.

On the season, Edwards has 1,000 rushing uards and 17 touchdowns on 112 carries with another 92 yards and two touchdowns on 10 catches.

MICAH CONTINUES TO FLASH: In a tight game this weekend, 2023 Irish cornerback Micah Bell’s performance on both sides of the ball proved decisive.

Bell finished with 80 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries during Kinkaid’s 20-17 win over Episcopal.

On the season, Bell has 897 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on 135 carries along with 10 catches for 72 yards.

FLORES, FOLSOM WIN AGAIN: 2023 Notre Dame receiver commit Rico Flores Jr.‍ and his Folsom High School squad moved to 7-1 on the season with a 34-7 win over Del Oro-Loomis on Friday night.

Flores finishes with six receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown.

For the season, Flores has 45 receptions for 748 yards and six touchdowns.

SHULER BLOWS UP: 2023 Irish safety Adon Shuler‍ has been playing an increasingly larger role on offense for Irvington High School this fall and played his biggest role yet last Thursday.

Irvington defeated Livingston 52-7 with Shuler rushing for 239 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries at quarterback. He also picked off a pass and returned it for a touchdown.

GREATHOUSE, WESTLAKE WIN AGAIN: 2023 Irish wide receiver commit Jaden Greathouse‍ provided some clutch catches as his Westlake squad beat former Notre Dame quarterback target Austin Novosad’s Dripping Springs squad 29-10.

LIMAR, LAKE STEVENS WIN GOING AWAY: 2023 Notre Dame running back commit Jayden Limar‍ and his Lake Stevens squad smoked Mariner 48-0 on Friday.

Limar finished with 137 rushing yards and three touchdowns on just 11 carries.

On the season, Limar has 814 yards and 14 touchdowns on 91 carries with another 132 receiving yards and a touchdown on 13 catches.

JAMES, STONY POINT COME UP SHORT: 2023 Notre Dame receiver commit Braylon James‍ and his Stony Point squad came up short against Vista Ridge 39-33.

James caught a pair of passes for 54 yards, but had a 75-yard score called back on the game’s first play because of a questionable penalty.

For the season, James has 23 catches for 522 yards and four scores.

CJ COMES UP SHORT AGAIN: For the second time this season, 2024 Notre Dame quarterback commit CJ Carr‍ and his Saline squad came up short, this time, losing 21-14 to Dexter on Friday night.

Car finished 26-for-32 for 225 yards, but was picked off to set up a Dexter touchdown.
