2026 In-State RHP Rhys Wolf Commits to Notre Dame

November 6, 2022

Notre Dame baseball has made the state of Indiana a priority and it’s paid off for Shawn Stiffler over the first four months on the job.

On Sunday, 2026 Martinsville High School (Ind.) RHP Rhys Wolf went public with his commitment to Notre Dame and it’s a big one as the 6-foot, 170-pounder has a chance to be one of the best in the Midwest.

Wolf hit 88 mph on his fastball last month and he has a changeup that sits at 78 mph with a 1367 spin rate. The Indiana native also has a curveball with a 2065 spin rate.

The Martinsville star also plays for the Canes Midwest organization in the summer, which is the same program 2025 Notre Dame infielder commit Mason Barth plays for in the offseason. Wolf struck out 10 in a summer game in July.
