Top 2024 CB Travaris Banks Planning Notre Dame Trip

Travaris Banks‍ is emerging as one of the top prospects in the Class of 2024 and Notre Dame already has the Alabama defensive back’s attention.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder has offers from the Irish, Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Maryland among others.

“I've got a few visits coming up this month,” the Tuscaloosa native said. “I'm going to Notre Dame sometime this month. I haven't set a date yet, but I am going.

“I just want to get up there. I like the coach. I like the coach. It's cold up there. I like the cold. I like the cold a lot. Yeah, I like the cold. I just want to see what's up there.”

The Northridge High School star says he stays in contact with Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman.

“He's cool,” Banks said of Freeman. “He's down to earth. He's a very nice guy.

“They want to get me up there. They said they like how I play. They like my physicality and things like that.”

He has a few other visits coming up as well.

“I'm going to Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, FSU,” he said. “I'm going to Austin Peay.”

Banks isn’t sure when he’ll trim his list, but is planning to make a decision about five months from now.

“I don't have a plan for when I'm narrowing my list down, but I do commit June 18th,” he said.

He outlined a few key factors to his decision.

“The communication and being able to start as a true freshman and what is the best school where I'll be able to further my academic career the most.”
