Notre Dame has always hit the road hard during evaluation periods as the program has to recruit coast-to-coast. It’s not easy. If you were a coach in Texas, you could hop in the car and spend the week driving around the Dallas area to hit important schools. The next week you can spend the week in Houston. 

That’s easy and the perks of having tons of talent in-state.
