After picking up an offer from Notre Dame on Wednesday, Davis Andrews‍ called it a “dream come true.”

The 2024 Utah safety adds the Irish to a list that already included schools like Utah, BYU, Stanford, Arizona and Colorado among others.

He’s been in touch with the Irish, specifically safeties coach Chris O’Leary, for the past few months.

O’Leary and head coach Marcus Freeman were at American Folk High School on Wednesday afternoon and left an offer for the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder.

Andrews made stops at Utah, USC, Cal and Stanford this past fall.

He already has a trip to South Bend tentatively “locked in” to check out the Blue-Gold Game in April.

Notre Dame checks a lot of the boxes that Andrews is looking for and is a prospect worth paying attention to moving forward.
