I’ve been kind of collecting my thoughts on this, so I thought I’d finally respond now to the departure of Tommy Rees as the offensive coordinator at Notre Dame.  I think there is a question that needs to be asked more than anything, and that is should it have ever happened?  Should he have ever been the guy?  

I don’t think there is any question this was an arranged marriage—Rees working for Freeman.
