Parker Harden‍ is enjoying the early stages of the recruiting process.

“It's been great,” the 2025 Ohio offensive lineman says.

“I've been looked at by a bunch of different schools, a bunch of different places. I've been able to see a bunch of places I'd never thought I'd be able to see before.”

The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder landed his first scholarship offer from Cincinnati back in November.

“That came on my first visit there,” he says. “It was surreal. It didn't feel real. It was more of like pure joy and excitement.”

The Pickerington Central High School standout followed that up with his second offer last month, this one coming at the end of a visit to West Virginia.

Notre Dame is a school that’s on Harden’s radar as well.

“I've been up there twice so far for game day visits,” he says. “It seems that they seem to enjoy what I produce as a player. It seems that they're very interested in me.

“They said that they're going to keep in touch with me and make sure that they continue to watch my development as a player.”

Harden likes Notre Dame for more than football.

“Notre Dame's a great school,” he says. “They obviously hold education to a high standard there. I feel like that that's more important to me as a player. Obviously, education first and then being an athlete, but they all seem to emphasize that being a student first is what they're about.”

He “definitely” wants to keep in touch with the Irish, but expects to expand his sights with visits in the coming months.

“We're probably going to end up going a little more West Coast this year too, so we're probably going to go see some of the UCLAs, the Oklahomas, the Alabamas, most of those schools.”
