Freddy Canteen wanted a fresh start and the wide receiver will get just that after announcing his intentions to transfer from Michigan to Notre Dame.
The Maryland native will be able to play for the Irish immediately and since he sat out this past season with the Wolverines, he’ll potentially have two years of eligibility remaining.
Despite his departure, he leaves Ann Arbor with no hard feelings, according to Bo Hunter, who has trained Canteen.
