Notre Dame doesn’t typically host official visitors in the spring but that’s about to change as Clemson graduate transfer Scott Pagano will be in South Bend for an official visit in March.

“I am not doing interviews for awhile, but I will confirm the official visit,” Pagano stated to Irish Sports Daily on Tuesday morning. “It will be March 24th.”

The 6-foot-3, 295-pounder majored in Sociology at Clemson and will be immediately eligible to play for his fifth and final season of eligibility.

Pagano, a four-star prospect out of Moanalua (Hawaii), chose the Tigers over the likes of Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC, Washington and more programs.

In 2016, Pagano helped led Clemson to a 14-1 record and defeated Alabama to win a National Title. He started four games and played in twelve games for the Tigers last fall. Pagano recorded 31 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.

Pagano will also consider Arkansas, Cal, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon and Texas.
