Potential Notre Dame Special Teams Coordinator Candidates

If anyone thought that one coach couldn’t possibly make that much of a difference for a special teams unit, they had their mind changed after only one season of Brian Mason at Notre Dame.

Mason transformed a group that consistently was average for several years and helped turn them into one of the best units in the country. The Irish were a punt blocking machine and finished sixth in FEI’s special teams rankings.
