2025 WR Jaime Ffrench Talks "Perfect" Notre Dame Visit
Jaime Ffrench didn’t hold back when talking about this past weekend’s visit to Notre Dame.
“Man, it was amazing,” the 2025 Florida wide receiver told Irish Sports Daily afterward. “It was like everything I look for plus more. They covered everything. It's a great staff.
“I'm not going lie to you, that could be my home. Don't be surprised if I say that's my home.”
The Mandarin High School star was offered by the Irish back in December. His offer sheet also includes schools like Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and Texas A&M among others.
The Irish hit virtually every mark with Ffrench.
“They did it all,” he said. “The academics is something I'm big on, so that's a big plus. Notre Dame has a great, great coaching staff, great coaching staff. They know what they're doing.”
Wide receivers coach Chansi Stuckey, Director of Recruiting Chad Bowden and head coach Marcus Freeman all made tremendous impressions.
“Coach Stuck, he knows what he's doing,” Ffrench said. “He's developing guys. He even showed me why he's recruiting me. He showed me my film compared to their players' film. He showed me releases and stuff, just stuff like that I want to see. I don't want to just know I'm being recruited just to win games.
“They're great. They're people I want to be around, in and out every day, especially Coach Chad. Man, nobody is like Coach Chad. He always has the energy. Coach Chad has the energy. Coach Stuckey's going to come with it too.
“And of course, Coach Freeman, I mean that's a plus right there.”
The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder from Jacksonville made the trip with his parents, who were also impressed.
“My parents loved it even more,” he said. “That's what made me happy because my parents loved it more.”
He’s expecting to visit Florida State soon and says the next step for him and the Irish is him getting back to South Bend for a game in the fall.
The bar has been set quite high already.
“It's just perfect, man.”
