Notre Dame special teams coordinator Marty Biagi spoke following Saturday's practice.

On punter Bryce McFerson:
“Getting here in such a short time and trying to learn and feel everything out, he’s working on fine-tuning his technique to be more consistent. His leg strength is clearly there. Very similar, if not even stronger to Tyler Newsome, who is somebody I coached before. But now we’re trying to make sure he can do it consistently.
