2025 LB Noah Mikhail Grateful For Notre Dame Interest

While on the West Coast earlier in this Evaluation Period, Notre Dame defensive coordinator Al Golden made sure to stop by Bonita High School to check in on top 2025 California linebacker Noah Mikhail‍.

“It's really hard because he's not really supposed to talk to me, but he's able to talk to my coaches,” Mikhail told Irish Sports Daily. “Just stopping by and checking up on me, I really appreciated it.

“He had more conversations with my coach, just about football, and backgrounds where he has been, and everything.”

As much as anything, Golden making the trip showed Mikhail he’s top of mind for the Irish.

“I appreciated him taking his time out to come see me,” he said.

“Coming all the way from South Bend to California, I know that's not close and not an easy trip to make, so I really appreciated that.”

Mikhail has dozens of offers from schools like Notre Dame, USC, UCLA, Stanford, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Alabama and Georgia among several others.

He’s already visited South Bend twice and is planning to return again for a game this fall.

He has a few other schools in mind as well.

“I'm obviously going to be down back at USC. I'll probably hit up a few schools and I'll probably hit up Texas, and Arkansas. There's been other schools, just around trying to see everything.”
