2025 WR Xzavion Robinson Excited for Irish Invasion, Big Summer
2025 Valley (Iowa) receiver Xzavion Robinson has heard a lot about Notre Dame recently and will make the trip to South Bend this weekend to compete at Irish Invasion.
The 6-foot-1, 178-pounder wants to see Notre Dame for himself, but also compete in hopes of earning an offer from the Irish as well.
“I have a former teammate that’s there - Eli Raridon,” Robinson told ISD. “He’s told me a lot about Notre Dame and how good it is. He loves it and I should come over for a camp. I also want to come get some exposure outside of the state.”
Notre Dame won’t be the only school to host Robinson this summer as the Iowa native has a busy schedule planned.
“I’ll go to Michigan and Missouri,” stated Robinson. “I’m going to go to LSU and Vanderbilt and then I’m going to do the Lindenwood mega camp. I don’t have any other visits planned right now. I might make it to Iowa and Iowa State whenever I have a chance, but that’s really it.”
Robinson holds early offers from Colorado, Iowa, Iowa State and Missouri, but the Valley star wants to see improvement in his game more than anything.
“I hope I can get better at camps playing against really good competition around the country,” explained Robinson. “I hope I get better even if I don’t get an offer. I want to compete and make sure I did my best.”
Right now, Robinson is coming off a big basketball season and now he’s turned his attention to grow his game on the football field. Robinson has also seen his game go to the next level as he’s healthy after battling through an injury in the fall.
“I’m a really competitive person,” Robinson explained. “No matter what - win or lose - I play my hardest. I’m really physical. I’m great at jump balls. I have been working on my route running this summer and it’s gotten way better since the season. I got hurt last season and I couldn’t really cut how I wanted to, but now I can move how I want to and I think it’s going to be a big improvement in my game.”
There would be a great deal of excitement from Robinson if he earns an offer from Notre Dame this weekend, but it would also show him his hard work is showing.
“I think it will show the work I’ve been putting in is paying off,” said Robinson. “I know I have a couple offers, but knowing I can go to camps and do my best to hopefully earn a scholarship will show I’ve been working really hard this offseason.”
