2025 DB Remington Moss Enjoys Notre Dame Return For Invasion
Remington Moss was back at Notre Dame for Irish Invasion this weekend and the 2025 Virginia defensive back enjoyed himself once again.
“It went great,” the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder told Irish Sports Daily afterward. “I love the competition. It was a great camp.
“I think I did solid.”
Moss could tell the Irish’s showcase camp was unlike most others he’s attended.
“It was great,” he said. “You could feel the greatness, like even the players, it's different. It's different. It's definitely a different type of camp.”
Moss received an offer from Notre Dame safeties coach Chris O’Leary during his first visit to South Bend back in April and was able to work out for O’Leary on Sunday.
“He said he liked me,” Moss said of O’Leary. “He just wants to see me get faster, stronger, more explosive.”
Moss doesn’t consider himself a corner or a safety.
“I am just a DB,” he said. “I make sure I can play whatever. I don't really know yet.”
It’s obvious Moss’ interest in Notre Dame is genuine.
“I mean, what is there not to like, honestly?” he said. “You’ve got the degree and you’ve got the chance to play for a national championship. Good degree, good football, it's really a lot. It's hard to turn down.”
Moss is already looking at returning to South Bend.
“I’m definitely going to come to a game,” he said. “And then just continue to stay in contact with Coach O'Leary and Coach (Al) Golden.”
His next visits include stops at Northwestern, Wisconsin and Michigan State.
His current offer sheet includes schools like Penn State, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Duke, NC State and Ole Miss among several others.
He’s already been creating a list of favorites in his own mind.
“I've definitely been seeing which schools I like the best,” he said. “I'm just still trying to make sure. Just be careful, make sure my decision is the right decision.”
