2024 LB Bradley Shaw Gives Notre Dame Official Visit High Praise
2024 Hoover (Ala.) linebacker Bradley Shaw made his first trip to Notre Dame in the spring and return over the weekend for his official visit.
The four-star prospect made the second trip to learn more about the program, but also to mix it up with the folks who make the program run.
“The first treat was great but this one was way better,” Shaw told ISD. “I got to spend a lot of time with the players, coaches and recruits.”
Notre Dame had several commits back in South Bend for the weekend, including 2024 linebacker commits Bodie Kahoun and Teddy Rezac. Shaw was able to pick their brains and also get to know the types of teammates he could potentially have at Notre Dame.
“The commits were cool,” stated Shaw. ‘They were easy to talk to and fun to be around. I could see myself playing with them.”
The Irish coaching staff rolled out the red carpet for the Alabama native, but they also made sure to give him plenty of time. Marcus Freeman, Al Golden, Max Bullough and Chad Bowden all made Shaw feel at home, while explaining how he fits into Notre Dame on and off the field.
“They want me there,” explained Shaw. “They believe I fit the program well and it would be a good fit for me. And also it would set me up for the long run.”
Shaw also saw how Notre Dame’s roster is built from all around the country and the student body comes from across the world.
“How almost all the guys are from around the world,” Shaw said when asked if anything surprised him.
As of now, Shaw has a Georgia official visit planned for June 23rd and Auburn is also in the mix, but did Notre Dame make a move this weekend?
“Yes sir they did,” said Shaw.
