Brock Schott‍ had the chance to work out at Notre Dame’s Irish Invasion this past Sunday and the 2025 Indiana tight end enjoyed himself.

“It went pretty good,” Schott told Irish Sports Daily afterward. “I felt like I was moving pretty well, my routes and my 40 time.”

The Leo High School standout said he clocked a 4.61 in the 40-yard dash.

Schott appreciated the opportunity to work with the Irish coaching staff.

“It was nice,” the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder said. “They really taught me a lot. I got some good tips and pointers.

“It was mainly on blocking, just exploding your hips early and keeping a wide base and all that stuff.”

Schott has a dozen early offers from schools like Michigan State, Wisconsin, Purdue, Indiana, Iowa, Miami, Cincinnati and Louisville among others.

As for the Irish, Notre Dame tight ends coach Gerad Parker wants to remain in contact with Schott moving forward.

“Coach Parker said we we'll keep staying in touch, building a relationship, talking every week and just see where we're at in the future,” Schott explained.

Schott will take visits to Wisconsin and Iowa next and said he will probably return to South Bend again in the future.

He knows one crucial factor in his ultimate college decision.

“If they're going to really utilize my position, so I can get on the field and make plays,” he said.

The Irish can certainly check that box.

“They do a great job, obviously,” said Schott.

“Coach Parker was telling us about how the last 11 starting tight ends for Notre Dame have been drafted and are in the NFL. So, they obviously know what they're doing when it comes to tight ends.”
