2025 TE/DE Brock Schott Headed Back To Notre Dame
Brock Schott enjoyed his trip to Notre Dame for last month’s Irish Invasion and the 2025 Indiana prospect will be back later this month.
“I'll be there for the cookout,” Schott tells Irish Sports Daily.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder didn’t get to see a ton of campus in June.
“I just did the camp,” the Leo High School standout says. “I didn't get to see campus very much or the facilities or anything like that.”
This time, he’s hoping to see that and more.
“Maybe a tour, see what Notre Dame's about, see what they're looking at me for,” he says. “See where they're recruiting me at.”
Schott worked out at Irish Invasion as a tight end, but could also play defensive end.
“I think they're going to be looking at me more for defense,” he says.
Schott, who has offers from schools like Wisconsin, Michigan State, Indiana, Miami and Louisville among others, doesn’t seem to have a preference of positions.
“I don't really have an opinion,” he says. “I guess I kind of like both the same.”
When the Irish coaches reached out to him about returning and the idea of talking about possibly playing defense, Schott was more than willing.
“I've always been a Notre Dame fan, so I thought it'd be cool to go there and see what it's about,” he says.
He’s honored to be invited to an event that is littered with other top Notre Dame prospects.
“It feels really good to know that they believe that I could be that good and maybe even play there if they give me an offer,” he says.
“It's really exciting.”
An Irish offer would clearly made a lot to Schott.
“I'd be really excited because Notre Dame's one of the top programs and I've always been a fan, so it'd be really exciting,” he says.
Later this month, he’s also set to camp at Alabama and visit Wisconsin.
“I think I might camp at Georgia too at the end of July,” he says.
Schott doesn’t have any fall visits mapped out yet.
