Notre Dame Observations from Fall Camp Practice No. 2

Notre Dame made the first five periods of fall camp practice No. 2 open to the media on Thursday. The Fighting Irish wore helmets without shoulder pads.

There’s no need for anyone to overreact yet, but I didn’t see wide receiver Deion Colzie at practice today. Wide receiver KK Smith was the only injured player in the pit. 

To the chagrin of attending media members, the players stretched outside today beneath a morning sun warming the practice turf to a balmy 80 degrees.
