Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman spoke for the final time before Saturday's home opener against Tennessee State. 

On the health status of TE Eli Raridon:
”Eli will not go this game. He hasn’t been fully cleared yet. He’s still working his way back. We hope in the next couple weeks he’ll be 100 percent cleared. It’s just being cleared to truly play in a game. It’s just a progress for him from where he’s at now to being able to be game-ready.
