Rewatch Notes | Notre Dame Offense vs NC State

Notre Dame’s offense found out quickly this wasn’t a Navy or Tennessee State level opponent they were playing.

They came out with 11 personnel (one back, one tight end) and ran into an outnumbered box on the first play. Stuffed.

They saw the same thing on 2nd down with defensive coordinator Tony Gibson run blitzing on consecutive plays.

3rd down and both Rocco Spindler and Blake Fisher got beat clean for a sack and forced fumble tha Notre Dame fortunately recovered.
