2025 WR Eugene Hilton Enjoys Notre Dame Trip

Eugene Hilton‍ didn’t know a ton about Notre Dame coming into his visit earlier this month.

And the 2025 Indiana wide receiver didn’t see everything, but what he did see, he liked.

“It was good,” Hilton told Irish Sports Daily afterward. “It was smooth.

“I got to see the practice facilities. I got to meet the coaches and that was about. I got to watch the game. I loved it. It was a beautiful place.”

The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder had a chance to speak with some Irish staffers.

“I got to talk to the receivers coach and the head coach for a little bit, and then a recruiting guy,” he said.

Notre Dame receivers coach Chansi Stuckey made a positive early impression.

“I liked him,” said Hilton. “Very energetic, good guy. I could tell he cared about his players.”

The Zionsville High School standout wasn’t in the stadium until the end, but was impressed.

“I only stayed for the first half, but I thought it was good,” he said. “Good environment.”

Hilton expects to return in the future.

“They're just trying to get me back up there for more games,” he said. "

His offer sheet includes schools like Miami, Wisconsin, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Louisville, Purdue, Indiana, Georgia Tech and West Virginia among others.

He has a few other visits coming up.

“I'll go to Ole Miss, Kentucky and Cincinnati in two weeks. then I think that's all I have planned for right now.”
