2025 DE Landon Brooks Enjoys Notre Dame Visit
A week after landing his first scholarship offer, Landon Brooks made his way to South Bend for Notre Dame’s game against Central Michigan on Saturday.
And, the 2025 Indiana defensive end enjoyed himself.
“I thought it was great,” the 6-foot-6, 200-pounder told Irish Sports Daily.
“The atmosphere and all the people. Everybody was so nice. I loved it.”
The Muncie native was impressed with Notre Dame’s performance in the 41-17 win over the Chippewas.
“I thought it was really good,” he said. “We've got a lot of dogs on the team.”
Defensive lineman Javontae Jean-Baptiste especially impressed Brooks.
“He just hustled and got to the quarterback,” Brooks said. “I admire that.”
Brooks, who picked up his first offer of the process from Toledo last week, spoke with some members of the Irish staff.
“I talked to a couple of the staff members and then I introduced myself to the D-line coach, but we didn't have too much talk,” he said.
“They were just really nice and welcoming and just treated me like a friend.”
The Delta High School standout will head to Indiana for a visit this coming week, but hopes to remain in contact with the Irish moving forward.
“Hopefully get more on their radar and maybe get on another visit and get some more personal time with the coaches and try to get an offer.”
