Notre Dame’s offense didn’t score a touchdown on every drive. In fact, they settled for three field goal attempts and punted twice.

It was a ho-hum 41 points and 9.4 yards per play with Sam Hartman at quarterback. He also was a (yawn) four of five on deep passes that accounted for 232 yards. He’s now 11 of 17 on the season on deep throws (64.7%). (Note: I originally wrote that he was 7 of 11, which makes no sense.
