Notre Dame will take a transfer quarterback for the third time in four seasons as Marcus Freeman and his staff try to get the room where it needs to be after multiple departures put the room behind the 8-ball. 

Decisions surrounding the quarterback are often met with blowback from fans as it’s the most polarizing position in sports - especially at Notre Dame.
