Notre Dame football coach Marcus Freeman spoke following the 40-8 win over Oregon State in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl. 

On the win:
“I’m just so proud of these players, the commitment to grasping this special opportunity that we have in front of us. It’s not because they wanted to. It's because they put the work in. That’s what I kept challenging them on: We have to put the work in that it takes to grasp this great opportunity. So, I’m so proud of them.
