Elite 2025 ATH Dallas Golden Ready For Another Notre Dame Trip

Dallas Golden‍ was in South Bend twice last year and will be back again for Notre Dame’s Junior Day this weekend.

“I’d say the football culture, the academics, and also a chance to play with great coaches,” the elite 2025 Florida athlete tells Irish Sports Daily of his interest in the Irish.

“They all treat me like family. That’s a big part of my recruiting and how my relationship is with the coaches.”

The Berkeley Prep star was on campus for Notre Dame’s spring game last April and again for the USC game in October. He got plenty of answers regarding the University between those two visits, so this trip is about people as much as anything.

“I feel like the past two times I’ve been up there, they have shown and taught me everything,” he says. “I’m just excited to get up there to talk to the coaches and some of the commits.”

The Irish have been consistently saying how excited they are about getting the 6-foot-1, 180-pounder back on campus. 

Golden could play on either side of the ball in college, but Notre Dame sees him as a cornerback primarily. His offer sheet is stacked with schools Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, LSU, Florida State, Texas A&M, Michigan, Penn State and Wisconsin among several others.

He doesn’t have any other visits planned at the moment and doesn’t have a timeline for cutting his list or making a final decision.

But he does have a good idea of what he’s looking for in a college program.

“My biggest factor is who I feel most comfortable with at the end, such as the bond I have with the coaches and how they treat me there,” he says. 

“It all sums up with me and my family being comfortable with the school or not.”
