BREAKING: John Dirksen Commits to Notre Dame

2018 Ohio offensive lineman John Dirksen has committed to Notre Dame per his father. The 6-foot-5, 305-pounder visited South Bend this weekend and committed to the Irish on Saturday prior to leaving campus. 

"He's a happy camper," stated Dirksen's father. 

Dirksen joins Tennessee offensive lineman Cole Mabry in the 2018 recruiting class. The Marion Local star got to spend time around the offensive line and that was a big part in his decision.

"I really enjoyed the beautiful campus and meeting all of the coaches and players," stated Dirksen.

The three-star prospect chose the Irish over Iowa State, Kentucky, Michigan State, Northwestern and Vanderbilt.
