Notre Dame football coach Marcus Freeman spoke following the first spring practice of the year. 

On the first practice:
”It’s good to be here there just day one. It’s the first day of spring practice, you don't have pads on, but I loved the clean efficiency of practice. There wasn’t a lot of guys on the ground.
