"What can he do? Can he do what we are asking this position to do? How do I tweak the scheme, how do I tweak the positions (to suit a player’s skill set)?"

I'm sure Mike Elko wants to accomplish a lot this spring, but finding out answers to these questions he asked last week have to be close to the top of his list. It's not installing the defense and figuring out who can play where later on. It's learning the personnel and finding out how he can best utilize their skills on the football field.
