Briggs Sees More Than He Expected At ND

One month after receiving an offer from Notre Dame, Jowon Briggs got the chance to visit for the Irish’s first-ever Sophomore Day and the 2019 Cincinnati defensive tackle was not disappointed.

“It went well,” the 6-foot-2, 275-pounder from Walnut Hills High School said.

Getting a chance to see the Irish in a practice setting was one of the highlights.

“I definitely liked how I got to sit and watch practice,” Briggs said.
