2026 LB Kenneth Goodwin Fired Up For Notre Dame Offer
Kenneth Goodwin has been steadily adding big-time scholarship offers for the past year.
On St. Patrick’s Day, the 2026 Nevada linebacker added Notre Dame to the list.
“It means a lot,” the 6-foot-1, 205-pounder told Irish Sports Daily.
“Great tradition, great schooling. I just love Notre Dame Football and everything about it.”
The Desert Pines High School star also has offers from schools like Georgia, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Washington, Boston College, Texas A&M and Ohio State among several others.
He’s been in regular contact with Notre Dame linebackers coach Max Bullough and some contact with defensive coordinator Al Golden leading up the offer.
“I actually really like Coach Bullough,” he said. “He seems like a good guy, great coach, great developer, everything. I haven't really had too many conversations with Coach Al Golden yet.”
The Irish assistants were able to get Goodwin to South Bend on April 6th.
He said he had a “terrific” time and is scheduled to return for camp this summer.
Goodwin has been busy this spring, also making stops at Ohio State, Alabama, Auburn, UCLA and Georgia.
He isn’t in a rush to make a final decision, but is planning to cut his list down at the end of this coming year and already knows what he’ll be looking for when comparing each school.
“Development. That's my number one thing, development. How these coaches are going to get me better, not just with football, but with everything after football.”
