2027 WR Carter Bonner One To Watch

Carter Bonner‍ arrived in New Jersey for the Under Armour Next Football Camp at Hackensack High School earlier this month with a goal of what he wanted to showcase.

“My deep ball skills, being a big receiver, my releases and just being me,” the 2027 Pennsylvania receiver said.

Bonner did just that, showcasing the frame and athleticism that has allowed 6-foot-2, 187-pounder to collect several offers already.

The Penn Hills High School standout’s current offer sheet includes schools like Penn State, Pitt, Michigan State, West Virginia, Maryland and more.

“It's a blessing because this is what I prayed for and God gave it to me,” the Pittsburgh native said. “So it is just a blessing all in all.”

He’s already visited Penn State, Pitt and West Virginia. 

“They all gave me amazing experiences when I was up there,” he said.

He’s planning a stop at Youngstown State this summer and is also hoping to get to Tennessee and Kentucky.

He hasn’t heard much from Notre Dame yet, but is quite aware of the Irish.

“I actually watched their game when they played Ohio State,” he said. 

And he’d welcome interest.

“Definitely,” he added. “Me and my uncle talk about them all the time, how they develop receivers.”

Bonner has a short list of what he’s looking for in a college.

“Hospitality, definitely,” he said. “And how they can improve me as a man outside of sports.”
