2026 Fort Wayne Receivers Set for Notre Dame's Irish Invasion
Fort Wayne has been kind to Notre Dame for several years and the 2026 class will have a shot at impressing the Notre Dame coaching staff next month.
2026 Northup (Ind.) receiver Jerquaden Guilford and 2026 Carroll (Ind.) receiver Jaidon Vanpelt will compete at Irish Invasion in June.
Guilford is coming off a strong spring where he won MVP at the receiver position at the Under Armour Camp in Nashville. The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder also tested well as he recorded a shuttle of 4.36 and a vertical of 30.4 inches.
The three-star prospect holds early offers from Ball State, Kent State, Miami and Toledo.
Vanpelt, who attends the same high school as former Notre Dame linebacker and Super Bowl champ Drue Tranquill, also had a solid showing in Nashville. The 5-foot-10, 160-pounder recorded a shuttle of 4.34 and a vertical of 27.6 inches.
Both receivers train with Dre Muhammad at Traction Athletic Performance (formally AWP). Muhammad has produced several top prospects, including Ben Skowronek, Austin Mack, Mylan Graham and 2024 Notre Dame signee Tae Johnson. Jaylon Smith also continues to train at Traction AP in the offseason.
