2026 WR Jaidon VanPelt's Big Summer Kicks Off With Invasion At Notre Dame
Jaidon VanPelt has been encouraged to look at the next few months as a tremendous opportunity and the 2026 Indiana receiver is doing just that.
“I was just talking to my trainer, Dre,” VanPelt says of respected trainer Dre Muhammad.
“He wants me to go to every camp I can this summer because he is confident that I can get a lot of offers this summer.
VanPelt already has offers from Ball State, Toledo and Kent State.
“It's exciting,” he says. “Of course I want more and I feel like I can. I'm really confident that I can get some more Big 10 and SEC schools this summer.”
And that’s why the Fort Wayne Carroll High School standout will make the drive north this weekend to compete at Notre Dame’s Irish Invasion.
“I want to show them my explosiveness, my speed, route-running and my IQ for the game,” the 5-foot-10, 165-pounder says.
VanPelt is also interested in getting a peek at Notre Dame while he’s in town.
“They have a pretty good program,” he says. “I don't really know too much, but I want to know more about them.
“Just how their work ethic is there, what they do in practice, and that's basically it.”
VanPelt will be working out at another Midwestern power a few days later.
“I'm be going to Ohio State the 5th, but that's all I know for now,” he says.
VanPelt may not know his entire visit schedule for the rest of the month, but he knows it’ll be packed.
“My whole June is filled with camps.”
