Notre Dame Football Reveals 2024 Shamrock Series Uniforms

Notre Dame will play Army in the 2024 Shamrock Series game on November 23rd at Yankee Stadium and the Irish revealed what they’ll be wearing on Wednesday morning. 

For the third consecutive year, the program released alternate uniforms featuring a movie spoof. This year, it’s The Wolf of Wall Street, as Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman played former stockbroker and financial criminal Jordan Belfort. 

Notre Dame recreated scenes from the popular film The Hangover for its 2022 game in Las Vegas and a year ago, Freeman, Audric Estimè and Sam Hartman acted out a scene from Jerry Maguire. 

2024 will also make the 100th anniversary of the 1924 Notre Dame-Army game at the Polo Grounds in 1924, which led to the Irish backfield getting tabbed The Four Houseman by Grantland Rice.

Notre Dame’s jersey will be blue-gray in honor of Rice's famous line. The beveled gold accents on the logo and jersey are a unique touch, while the numbers are in a Gothic font. 

Yankee Stadium will host the Shamrock Series for a third time and the Fighting Irish are 2-0 in previous games. In 2010, Notre Dame cruised to victory 27-3 over Army and then in 2018, the Irish destroyed Syracuse 36-3, which included Dino Babers kicking a field goal with 10 seconds left in the game to avoid a shutout. 

Notre Dame leads the all-time series against Army 39-8-4 and holds a record of 2-0 in Shamrock Series games against the Black Knights. The Fighting Irish are 11-0 all-time in Shamrock Series contests.
