Notre Dame football coach Marcus Freeman spoke following the 23-13 win over Texas A&M on Saturday night. 

On the win:
”That was a huge victory for our program over a really, really good football team. That is an impressive football team and it's going to win a lot of games. I have a lot of respect for Coach (Mike) Elko. That’s a good group we just faced. 

“It wasn’t pretty. The defense played lights out, turnovers.
