2026 WR Elijah Harris Excited For Next Notre Dame Visit
After camping at Notre Dame a couple years ago, Elijah Harris will be back in South Bend this weekend for the Irish’s home opener.
“I went to a camp my freshman year there,” the 2026 Ohio receiver said. “I thought the campus was real nice. I just wanted to investigate a little more. Just kind of culture and things like that. See what a game day environment looks like.”
The 5-foot-11, 160-pounder is excited to learn more about the Irish.
“I don't know a ton,” he said. “I know it's a very prestigious academic school.”
Harris landed his first offer from Iowa State back in February.
“It was crazy, but I just like to use it as motivation every week to try to get better,” he said.
The the Westerville Central standout is also hearing from other schools.
“I hear from Miami-Ohio, Northwestern, some other MAC schools like Toledo, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Wisconsin, Kentucky,” he said.
“Honestly, it's crazy. It's very surreal and it's really cool too. It's great. It gives me great experiences and opportunities to be able to go to college.
“I think it's my explosiveness and my athleticism. I'm a very fast, quick-twitch guy and I'm a playmaker.”
Harris will be making his way to Morgantown for a visit soon.
“I'm going to West Virginia in two weeks,” he said.
It’s early, but he has a good idea what will be most important when he’s trying to choose one school over the rest in the end.
“Probably the people. I want to have a good connection with the coaches and the staff and everyone that works with the team.”
