2026 WR William Jones-Terrell Enjoys First Notre Dame Trip
William Jones-Terrell made his first trip to Notre Dame on Saturday and the 2026 Michigan receiver left impressed.
“It went well,” the 6-foot-2, 188-pounder told Irish Sports Daily afterward.
“The coaches, the community, the players, the recruiting coordinators. It was just good.”
While in town, the Chippewa Valley had the chance to speak with some Irish staffers.
“I talked to Carter (Auman), the recruiting coordinator and the receivers coach,” Jones-Terrell said. “They were just telling me it's a great program and telling me how it'd be when I get there, stuff like that.”
Jones-Terrell, who has an offer from Michigan State, was impressed with the Notre Dame staff.
“My impressions were they were very good people,” he said. “They treated me well, made sure I was good and everything.”
He also enjoyed the surroundings in South Bend.
“The campus is pretty good,” said Jones-Terrell.
Despite the ugly loss to Northern Illinois, Jones-Terrell was impressed with the Irish’s spirit.
“I feel like they played good,” he said. “They gave 100 percent every play. They didn't give up. They just kept working.”
Jones-Terrell is planning trips to Michigan - after visiting Ann Arbor two weeks ago - and Buffalo and Alabama.
He also expects to return to South Bend in the future.
“I see myself going on more visits and building stronger relationships with the coaches.”
