Notre Dame football coach Marcus Freeman spoke for the final time before Saturday's game at Purdue. 

On if freshman DE Bryce Young could get meaningful snaps this weekend with Joshua Burnham questionable: 
”We expect Bryce to be able to have some opportunities to help us. RJ’s (Oben) had a really good week of practice and that’s what we needed him to do - we really needed him to be healthy and have a great week of practice.
