Saturday was what folks expected to see when Marcus Freeman took control of the Notre Dame program three years ago as the Fighting Irish dominated Purdue 66-7.
It was a game where the Irish controlled the trenches and dominated the Boilermakers in every aspect, including scoring on accident at times due to having better athletes.
