Notre Dame offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock spoke following Tuesday's practice. 

On if he was able to speak to Chuck Martin and the Miami staff on Saturday: 
“I got to spend a few minutes with them before the game, which was nice, and see Chuck, obviously. Unfortunately, as much as you care about them, I hate those scenarios where you actually have to play against people that you love and care about.
