2026 WR Jaidon Vanpelt Headed Back To Notre Dame
After visiting Notre Dame a few months ago, Jaidon Vanpelt will be back in South Bend for the Irish’s game against Louisville on Saturday.
“I went there for a football camp early in the summer,” the 2026 Indiana receiver told Irish Sports Daily. “It was really cool. I had a good time.”
“It's really cool. I like the environment and it's close to home too.”
The Carroll High School standout, who was at Irish Invasion, has early offers from Marshall, Toledo, Eastern Michigan, Ball State, Akron and Eastern Michigan.
“It's really cool,” the 5-foot-10, 160-pounder said. “Obviously, I'm always looking for more, but as of right now, it's really a blessing.”
Vanpelt is also receiving interest from some major Power 4 schools.
“They like the separation I can get, the catches I can make, and just my ability to get open,” he said.
He’s looking forward to seeing more about Notre Dame this weekend.
“I just want to see how the real experience of the football team is,” he said. “The environment, the energy they bring out and stuff.”
He was at Purdue a couple weeks ago and has some additional potential visits in mind.
“I think I may be going to Penn State, OSU, and a couple other schools,” he said.
It’s early, but Vanpelt has already identified some of the most crucial factors to his final decision.
“The relationships they build with my family, that's a big thing. How it is, if I feel at home, and just basically how they treat me.”
